Terry WadeMollie Turner brings a wide range of communications and public affairs experience to TheWadeGroup, Inc. She has led public affairs, media relations, and grassroots campaigns for clients, including international corporations, nonprofit organizations and local businesses. Her work has consistently helped clients reach their political and public affairs goals, including either passing or blocking legislation at both the federal and state level.

Prior to joining TheWadeGroup, Turner worked at two Washington, D.C.-based public relations agencies and the American Medical Association (AMA), one of the largest and most influential nonprofit organizations in the U.S. An experienced writer, she has developed messaging and published editorials on complicated legislative issues, including health care, asbestos litigation and energy reforms.

Turner has more than five years of experience working in health care policy communications and worked to help the AMA secure a seat at the table during the health care reform negotiations. She led the media launch of the AMA's Voice for the Uninsured Campaign, a three-year, multimillion dollar public education initiative.

Turner is a six-time public relations award recipient, the most prestigious of which is the Silver Anvil Award for Best Public Affairs Campaign for her work to stop Medicare payment cuts to the nations' physicians. She also has experience executing crisis management in a war-room-style setting, conducting media trainings and coaching, and creating and implementing new media strategies and internal communications strategies.

Turner earned a degree in communications/public relations and a citation in comparative literature from the University of Maryland (College Park). She is a native of the Washington, D.C. region.
